When I entered the taproom, I found Desimir focusing on a bowl of beef soup and a platter of cheese bread. Next to him sat a short, voluptuous woman with extraordinarily long, lustrous, black hair. She punctuated her loud voice with wild gesticulating hands.
She barely paused for breath as she harangued Desimir. She ranted about how long it had been since he had showed her any attention. She emphasized how he was not worthy to speak to her father, though her father had introduced them to each other in the first place. She complained how he was a bad example to their two boys, even though, she would admit, he was a good provider. Desimir had clearly met his match, and, to the rest of us, it appeared to be a match made in Olympus.
